BHSI promotes Jeff Murdock to Head of US Property Claims

Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI), a provider of commercial property, casualty, and specialty insurance products, has announced the promotion of Jeff Murdock to Head of U.S. Property Claims.

Based in Boston, Murdock succeeds Scott Lee, who will retire in July after a 40-year career in claims, including eight years at BHSI, where he has led the U.S. Property Claims team since March 2021.

Murdock brings 17 years of insurance industry experience to his new role. He joined BHSI in September 2015 as Director of Complex Claims and has since held various senior claims positions, most recently as Vice President of Property Claims.

Before joining BHSI, Murdock was a Senior Claims Specialist at Liberty Mutual Insurance.
