Stephen Scott to lead Gallagher’s newly launched MEA Risk Advisory practice

Gallagher has launched a new Risk Advisory practice for the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region with the appointment of Stephen Scott as its Head.

In his new role he will bring together Gallagher’s global consulting and analytic capabilities with a regional team to deliver local tailored solutions.

As part of the recently created Client Service team, the executive will be working across all of Gallagher’s specialty industry lines within the MEA.

Scott, brings extensive experience in risk consulting to the role, delivering innovative solutions to complex risks in the MEA region, and working within high-hazard industries where identifying, controlling, and mitigating risk is a priority.

He is joining Gallagher from Marsh, where he most recently served as Head of Property Risk Consulting – MENA, following his role as Senior Risk Consultant.

Prior to Marsh, Scott has worked for nine years at Essar Oil (UK) Limited, where he held a number of roles with increasing responsibility after joining the company in 2020.
