K2 Cyber, a K2 Insurance Services brand, has partnered with TransUnion, a global information and insights company, for Commercial Cyber Services and Cyber Claims Management.
Through this collaboration, K2 Cyber policyholders will have access to TransUnion’s TruEmpower™ CyberScout solution. This comprehensive service is designed to help companies address and mitigate cyber incident risks.
Thanks to this partnership K2 Cyber’s offerings will also improve by providing policyholders with a cyber claims hotline for proactive questions, and advanced cyber and business ID theft prevention tools.
It also gives policyholders access to claims management, incident response remediation, forensics consultation, and ongoing care, education, and triage services to ensure they are prepared to handle and recover from cyber threats.
K2 Cyber was launched in April 2025 as a managing general agent (MGA) focused on SMB Cyber Insurance designed to provide Intelligent Cyber Insurance, combining continuous risk engineering, advanced prevention tools, and comprehensive cyber education.
“At K2 Cyber, we are committed to delivering unparalleled protection and support to our policyholders,” said Keith Moore, CEO and founder of K2 Cyber. “Partnering with TransUnion allows us to enhance our offerings with cutting-edge solutions that not only address current cyber threats but also empower our clients to proactively safeguard their digital environments, helping us redefine cyber risk management for the SMB sector.”
Matt Cullina, Head of TransUnion’s Global Cyber Insurance Business, commented: “The aftermath of a data breach can feel chaotic for a business owner, and it’s difficult to even know how to begin addressing the situation.
“CyberScout’s services are both technical and consultative to assess and repair the damage, while helping small business owners navigate the process—so they can focus on protecting their customers as well as their brand.”
